La escultora Elvia Cor ha estado un mes en Florencia, realizando dos esculturas de gran belleza artística.
Un retrato, de marcado carácter, tamaño natural y una figura masculina, en el marco del workshop de escultura de la prestigiosa Florence Art Academy.
Junto a escultores muy prestigiosos que dirigían el workshop de escultura, como Eran Weber o Eudal de Juana, o Mitch Shea entre otros, y al lado de compañeros artistas de diferentes nacionanalidades de gran nivel, como Alejandro Buchner, profesor de Escultura de la Universidad de los Ángeles, o Sean Forsith que, entre otros trabajos, modela las espadas para la prestigiosa serie televisiva Juego de Tronos.
En la ciudad de Florencia, cuna del arte, la artista catalana, Elvia Cor ha trabajado duro, mañana y tarde bien guiada, en un gran ambiente de trabajo y compañerismo, consiguiendo unos resultados artísticos de gran nivel técnico, que sumado al característico toque de Elvia Cor de humanidad, las obras realmente responden a lo que a ella le gusta llamar, "Esculturas del alma".
Después de la mención de honor en Francia y de las esculturas en Italia, lo cierto es que Elvia Cor con su trabajo artístico va llevando con orgullo el nombre de Sitges por el mundo como ciudad cultural catalana cuna de artistas propios y de adopción.

The artist Elvia Cor happy in the opening of the hall in France Le Grand Prix de Le Fousseret next to the ICRE, Catalan Institute of Sculpture.
On this occasion Elvia Cor presented sculpture and painting together with ICRE artists, who were invited together with other French artists and of different nationalities.
The sculpture My Frida by Elvia Cor, exhibited for the first time in France, shone attracting the attention and admiration of the numerous attending public.
Mayor Pierre Lagarrigue of Le Fousseret, France, presided over the inauguration of the exhibition.
After the opening the artists were presented with a delicious French meal in a restaurant, old mill next to the lake.
